What is the process for bio metric appointments at VFS Colombo?

Do we have to pay passport courier charges at the counter on the same day?

How much is it?

And what is this premium service or something which everyone complaints about?

Hi there,

You have to book for Bio metrics online through the VFS booking system. Yes, you can pay at the counter and get the premium package but that is completely optional. The premium lounge is $52.65

The last update I got was on Sep 8th 2022 saying my medical is completed. Waiting since then.

There is a long period of time where you have no contact with IRCC during the background checks

I applied on June 2022, received pre-arrival Feb 16, 2023 after that no update

Thts a good sign,looks like ur file is moving faster,I have herd nothing after medical and that was on sep15,2022,we applied on march 2022.i been getting daily ghost updates on PR tracker,Monday to Friday ,and thts about it ,pls keep me posted .Thanks

Trust me , it is very much especially when you don't hear anything. As per my research Ghost updates mean nothing it's just a system upgrade.

Have you tried to call ircc? Did you apply online or paper application?
