Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Visa is valid until medical expires. My husband did re medicals in October. His visa expires Oct 2017.

Hi KiPriyan! How many days from re-medical did they take for the passport request?

I am glad at least for few people the files are in process.

Does anybody in the recent days have any idea after the medicals how many months for PPR?

Also I have a feeling embassy staff will start to snooze with the year coming to an end

Approximately 10 business days to call for PPR after office receives re-med and/or re-pcc

1st week of October my husband was requested to do remedical. 2nd week of October he was scheduled for an interview to attend in mid november. PPR request was recieved next day after the interview.

Yes dear, interview is over, on the same day got an E-mail for re-medical, did the re-medical next day, and now WAITING.....

Guys, we applied for police clearance on Nov 22nd and still hasnt received it. I am so worried as we are only given 30 days to submit the documents. When we send a sms for a status update but getting an error message.

Hi lav, it'll be ready exactly 14 days from when you apply, if your husband is in around Colombo he can go straight and collect it from police headquarters (COLOMBO 01) before they post, tell him to keep his identitycard and that receipt that they give when he appllied for a police clearance . If I'm not wrong tomorrow is the 14th day, so you can ask him to go and check..

Hi lav, if your husband is around Colombo, you can go there and ask them, not at the place where you apply, you should go to the police headquarters.. when I applied for my PCC, and I didn't get it even after 14 days, so I went there and asked them, they said from their side everything is done, and they're waiting for a report from my area police. So I went to my area police station and told them about this and they said that they'll send it as soon as possible. After few days, I got the PCC..
