Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Hi

Today i attended the Planning for canada session organised by the IOM. It was very informative and i recommend all to attend it.

Further i met an guy who applied on the last week of september 2015 and received visa on february 2016

So it looks like the colombo visa office has speedup their processing time

also another girl who applied on december was there in the session and she informed me that now the visa processing time is around 6 months and so we can expect to receive visa sooner. is it true

nice to here that u attended..........

Now the processing time is changed to 13 months for srilanka again.......any one got gud news?

hmm thats weired ... Its working for me...... Please try again using ur UCI and File number both.

Hi

As i mentioned in my earlier posts that i was not able to login in to my ecas using my UCI and file number from last saturday. So i emailed to CIC last monday as follow



This is to inform you, From last Saturday the 30th April onwards iam unable to log in to my ecas and check the status of my application using the above UCI and Application Number. Please assist me to overcome the above problem so that iam able to log in to my ecas and check the progress.



Today i got an reply for my email from CIC as follow


Please note that the file is pending an officer’s review as such our office will contact you accordingly,

Any one know How many days nomalyy take them the process criminal check and security check!?Huh Any idea guys ??they shud have some maximum time limit??

Earlier I was using my father's name as surname to check my ecas but for the last two weeks I couldn't login so today i tried using my husband name as surname and was able to login to my ecas. But why has cic changed my surname in the ecas for login

Hi Luci,

Nice to hear that u got ur login back. But surname should be ur husband's name, not sure whats gone wrong with ur login!!

Anyway whats ur status shows? still as "In process"? Did u ordered notes? Any update from colombo vo?

Oh ok. Mine says in process. File received January 2016. File transfered on march 2016. Medical received. Havent heard anything since march. How about you.
