Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Hi all, finally hope I found the proper place to post my questions .. I got married on 28th of OCt 2012.
File received on - 11.01.2013
File sent to Visa office Colombo - 31.01.2013

CIC status says that "medical has been received" .. when will i get my visa ? pls don;t tell it will take 16 months according to CIC website .. Any experiences ???? Really we miss each other soooo much :'(

I would say depending on ur file... 8 to 10 months.

My side nothing at all. Even on ECAS it doesn't even show up that they have started to view our file. It says application received an medical received. It been almost 7 months. And we only did Register marriage. Anyhow lets see.
But one of my cousin had interview in january.. and it was a 3 hours interview. They asked to do remedial, she did it inJanuary also. And she's waiting for an answer!

They asked her all the questions on the application documents. Like who arranged your wed. how did you know him first. How do you guys knw the gus who arranged wed. Would u married him if he was in srilanka. etc etc... But I think she should be receiving her visa in act 1 month.
