I'm really worried because I sent my application for common-law sponsorship (outland) in mid-February. I stupidly lost the receipt that showed my tracking number from Canada post (I sent it from Canada but am now back in the UK as my visa expired about 15 days after I sent my application in). I'm really worried as I expected to have had at least an email sent to me by now, confirming that they have received my package...but as yet, I have heard nothing. My boyfriend is currently living in our old apartment in Toronto but cannot afford the rent on his own, so he will be moving back with his parents at the end of this month. I obviously need to notify CIC that my postal address has changed. I was thinking of just putting my boyfriend's parent's address (as I did specify for them to communicate with me via email). However, how can I phone CIC and change my postal address if I have no tracking number? I have a copy of the receipt and have tried to input this into their tracking page but it is not recognised.
I am so worried that the application never even arrived!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
