Processing time for ICT work permit

My wife's work permit LMIA exempt ICT under GSS applied online by company's lawyers on 10 March, upfront medical and biometrics were done, since then no update. Her VO is Abu Dhabi as she applied from Bahrain. Hoping for an update soon now based on the 11 March case above.

My application is under GSS and the processing time for such application is 2 weeks as well. Applied in May and scheduled for biometrics next week. I hope i get the Visa soon.

Applied on April 9th from USA, still waiting... Was able to complete biometrics on 7/13. No updates on the application yet in CIC account apart from showing that biometrics is completed.

No idea ... my application was submitted in April with all biometrics and medical but still its in background check ..

Background check has 2 stages, Criminality check and security check, no idea how long it can go, from few weeks to couple of years nobody can say. My application is in background check since NOV 2019.

Yes you are very well correct .. But here is the catch if the application is filed under GSS ICT category then it should be processed within the defined time-frame i.e.14 days .But due to covid we can say it will take some more time .

They are processing, mine is approved yesterday. In the evening.

Thanks, I submitted paper application along with the passport. They sent back stamped passport via courier to my address directly.

Nice, good for you, did you check if you can travel to Canada now, or need to wait for travel restriction to lift ......
