Processing Time for Canadian student visa in pakistan

I m from Pakistan, karachi and new to this forum.Regarding canadian student visa, i have some queries.

1. Do i need to pay tuition fee before getting a student visa ?
2. If i got an reg letter from a Uni/college,,,wht will be the next step,,,,,,medicals etc ?
3. Can i show my uncle's bank statement?
4. What is the visa processing from Pakistan?

1) It is mentioned on your University's booklet the deadline date by which fees should be paid.However if you pay half of it and show the receipt to the VO then it would mean you are really serious about your studies and it would strengthen your case.
2)reg letter?
3)Yes you can how ever you will need documents to prove his blood ties to you and a letter from him certified by his employer which will state that he will provide complete funds for your education.
4)9 weeks.

Reg means.. registration letter.

Secondly,i hav visited number of consultant here in karachi.Many guys got there student visa without payng there tuition fee as their Uni/College havn't ask in advance.They just paid registration fee.They will pay as soon as thy reach Canada.
So i m going to apply in same scenario,,seniors,,,kindly advise me about it.

I m planning to show my Uncle's Bank statement who is my father's cousin.
I m applying with my wife.If my Uni/College allows me to pay the tuition fee on arrival..what are the chances for me in getting the visa?

Hello! sunny82!!! you sent me a private message for some reasons i am not able to reply you in private.well firstly medical call depends.maximum time for medical call is 60 days so make yourself prepare for 60days time frame. About concordia well i paid my first year tution fee though it wansnt necessary but i did it to make my case stronger. It will have a positive impression on visa officer that the person is interested in studies in canada.for rest mostly people apply for visa without paying their universities fee.so it totally depends.

I m planning to apply with my wife,,so can we both get the visa at the same time?
Can my Uncle who is my father's friend sponsor me,How much is your roughly idea ,my uncle needs to show in Bank?
If we get Medicals,,,is that 80% visa ?

Yes you both can apply for visa at the same time and you can take your dependent with yourself provided that you have sufficient funds with you to support yourself and your dependent.About the sponsor yes you can show anyone as your sponsor but generally it is advised that its better if your immediate family members are your sponsor.as far as the bank statement is concerned normally it is better to have funds for your 1 year tuition fee plus 1 year living expenses on the average it equals to 30 thousand dollars per person and you are taking your wife with yourself so its better to show more than 30 thousand dollars.i would suggest 40 lac PKR.for rest take opinion from other people too in the forum.Regards

well not sure about that but yes that's what i have heard too that once you get a medical call your chances of getting a visa increases.may be not 80 percent but definitely more than 50 percent.

@desolate: well one cannot tell you about the exact amount of time taken after medical.it varies.but for my i guess it takes atleast 3 weeks because medical reports from Pakistan are send to CHC New Dehli.i hope this helps.regards

Hi bro they are taking too much time after medical these days i guess...most of the people who had medical in start of june are waiting for there visa...
