@khalidHaider : brother firstly it would be difficult for you to get admission without ielts.you can get admission without ielts only if your institute is in the exemption list of the college/uni you are applying.secondly about visa.you can get visa without ielts but not submitting your ielts score with your visa application will weaken your case and you wouldn't want that.so its better to apply with ielts.Regards

Most colleges/unis need some sort of proof that you are proficient in english and they list many possible ways for an applicant to prove their proficiency. Ielts is usually not the only way, proficiency can also be proven by Tofel, Olevel/GCE/AS/IGCSE english, SAT, ACT etc.

I dont think it weakens your case a bit if you have a well written cover letter (not plagiarized) and good educational documents. Although I have an 8, I never submitted my score as I thought i was sending in too many documents. But I'f you've got a GOOD score, do send it, It will only help not hurt your application

Hi Guys I got admission in uni manitoba and received their acceptance letter. 2 year Course fee is approx $15000. there is $10000 living expense per year. Can anyone tell me how much funds I need to show?
Also an uncle of mine lives in the states. Can I show his bank account?

As i had applied to study visa on 17th of may, 2012 bt still no response from embassy no call no letter.
I'm worried about that. I got admission in Algonquin College any my clases will start from 4th of september.
I got admission in 2 years Diploma & i had paid my 1st semester fee of 6450$ CAD...I had shown bank statement of 30 Lakh Rs ...
Please tell me when i'll get my medical letter...

you can get admission without ielts in memorial university just show them your last 2 year study period was in english mean to say your instruction of medium was in english and you are good to go no esl test and all
