Processing time Bangalore - 2 weeks and still waiting

Though the tracking says processed at New Delhi does it actually gets processed in Bangalore ?
Also when she submitted her papers vfs guys mentioned to give it 20 to 25 days.

It will get processed by the Bangalore visa office.

I'm surprised that VFS Mumbai mentioned 20-25 days.... processing time varies on a case-to-case basis.... on an average it is 8-10 days

Your aunt can ring the VFS Global toll-free number to reconfirm about the estimated processing time.... do let us know what they say

I was going through this thread. My husband applied for my visitor visa via online on 19th March. Next day it showed status as open. Then for a while there was no update. Today got a message asking for my medical reports. Since I have already applied for my PR we gave the details of the medical check up which was done 5 months before. But again they are asking for a new one.
Any idea if they ask for medical reports is a step towards approving the visa request?

Ya it surprised me as well but I guess they just give you the maximum time frame. Possibly after the long weekend we should see some movement in her file. Now tht the winter here in Canada is gone they will have a lot of applications at ths time of the year.

Hey guys,

I am on a Post Grad work permit in Canada, and I recently got married. I applied for a TRV for my wife who has a job at TCS past 3.5 years. She also got a letter saying she is going on leave and will join back in June. Will that be enough for a TRV? I have attached a letter of invitation (not notarized though) and shown 16k CAD on my bank statement. Also, I have been working past 10 months.

After seeing a few rejects, it is really freaking me out and I am unable to work or sleep If unfortunately, her TRV gets rejected, what are my options? I know that I could have applied for an open work permit especially as my job is in software, but I felt that it will take longer and has less acceptance, so why bother I know

Also, we applied on 26th March and it went to Bangalore. I guess 20 days (including weekends) is the norm? or longer?

There is no new update till now, still says it is getting processed at New Delhi.

What is next update tht I can expect ? On the application tracker.

The next update will be "your processed passport has been despatched to the VAC, etc etc etc"

She has applied recently on April 1..... there were quite a few holidays last week.... hopefully you'll get an update next week

My mother & sister got multiple entry visa till expiry of passport.

Applied: March 26 2015 via paper application
Received: April 14

Can't wait to see them !!

Hey, it's good to know that visa applications submitted around March 25th have been processed..... ie Bangalore consulate.

Yes, Blue Dart delivers couriers on Saturdays.... your aunt will probably get her passport anytime after noon until 6pm IST tomorrow depending on where she lives.... fingers crossed
