Processing at Winnipeg IRCC

Just called IRCC.
My eligibility is recommended pass
security and criminality is in progress
She also confirmed the Winnipeg office is closed because of A\C problems and they haven't informed them if they will be transferring files to other visa offices...

My status is exactly the same as you.
AOR JAN 24.
Eligibility recommended pass in April, no update since then.

Jokes apart. But it's a government organization with a huge amount of backlog so this won't be for a long time. It's Canada.
Plus HVAC repairs takes max 2-3 days not even that long. They can't have the office closed for long time. So chill it'll be working either tomorrow or coming Monday. Chill Chill!! Pray and leave it on God.

I checked on google map it is a large building. If the A/C was broken at the scale of whole building, I think it's going to take a while.

But in all seriousness, if the building isn't owned by the IRCC and the government is only leasing the space, then it's up to the building owner to call the repairman, so it's out of the IRCC's hands

Guys I did my research the entire building is Govt of Canada.
Called Victory Building. All offices and either food inspection or citizenship or refugee in different suites.

So Lets hope they fix it by today or tomorrow

I played smart I called Suite 613 in same building 269 they are working so not possible entire building is shut down. So all the best thank me later they are working.
