How bad is it that I received a PFL letter, it’s asking for over 20 plus items on my common law sponsorship.

A PFL letter is sent when IRCC intends to deny your application. So I guess that tells you how bad it is. How you respond to this letter is very important.

Hard to comment beyond that without knowing exactly what the letter says.
