Problems submitting IEC Visa application

Hi, my daughter filled in the online application and accidently answered no to go in the pools for selection, submitted the application and of course it was rejected. So as requested by technical help, she deleted her profile and started again and has tried this several times but still gets the same result as follows: It says 3 out of the 4 options to complete are complete and get a green tick, but the personal details option will not complete, it always says "in progress" even though we have thoroughly checked it several times, so she can't even submit the application as the submit button does not appear. She started this application process on the 15th of Feb and still is not able to resubmit an amended application to even go in the pools, can anyone please help? We are from Australia. She can afford to come to Canada on an eTA but would like to have the option to work if needed. She is meeting someone in Canada on the 25th of March so this is extremely urgent...If anyone can help that would be fantastic.

I would guess that you might still be missing something from your personal details section.

If you have removed the profile and tried again with the same problem - that's all I can think of.

She is ok to enter Canada without the approvals, if it comes through later all she needs to do is go to the nearest border and get it issued.

Check that personal details section one last time.

Thank you Ozlis, we have had 3 people check that there is nothing missing, and all of us have seen the same thing, it appears to be fine. We think it's because she answered a question wrong the first time, now it just seems to be stuck in any profile she makes. She's made and deleted 4 profiles, all with the exact same result. I have seen others on the forum with similar errors, she even gets an error saying she is already in the pools, but when she looks at her profile there are no applications in the pool. The first one was declined and she hasn't been able to submit another one after that.

So just an update for anyone else who is having a similar problem. My daughter called CIC in Canada this morning and they were very helpful. They apologised for not getting onto her problem sooner and talked her through withdrawing her profile (not deleting it) to withdraw it, there is usually a button in your MyCIC account but there was no button in hers to do this, so they talked her through getting the correct information and sending an email, which usually is addressed and replied to within 1 day. Then she will be able to submit her application again. So it appears that just deleting your profile, still leaves traces of it in the system and that's why the new applications won't go through. You have to withdraw your profile. Now we just need to wait....Cheers and good luck.

This issue has now become an absolute joke and the most frustrating thing ever, and now urgent. My daughter has called, emailed, filled in tech support web forms and still has not been able to submit a new profile, she has sent numerous screen shots and even gotten the Canadian Embassy in Australia to help escalate the problem, but still to no avail. Then after another email, she receives an email from IRCC saying there can be a delay of up to 72 hours to create a new profile, if after 72 hours you still can't create one, please use the web form and upload screen shots etc of the problem...It's been 21 days now and she's been doing this almost every day :-( We don't know what else to do, she's leaving on the 25th so looks like for certain she won't be in the pools before she even leaves, let alone get a letter. Is there anyone here that can help? We think it's a technical problem on the web site. :'(

Ok hold the bus !!! She just checked her profile again and now it's working and she was able to submit her application. She didn't do anything different, it must have been fixed....Thank goodness, now just the wait :)

please please please help!!!!!!!

I'm in the exact same situation :(. When I try to submit my new profile it keeps saying "you are not eligible as you are already in a pool" ???
So can you detail exactly what she did or what number she called? The only one I can find is
1 (877) 461-2346 but it says that's for Canadian calls and I'm in Australia so I'm not sure
if they'll be willing to help like the embassy wasn't.

PM'd you Nathan, by the way, for anyone else looking, the number to call Canada from outside the country is 1 613 944 4000 from any phone that can ring International, it works fine.

Hey I have a problem with my visa application!
So I have received an invitation five days ago and now I would have to upload all the documents, but the document "personal details" is still at the status "in progress". The problem is that I have to indicate a primary passport, but the information about my passport is already saved and I cannot change it into my primary passport. If I try to add it again, it will only say "ID documents must not match a previously entered record". And since the document is still in progress, I cannot continue my application. Please help, I only have a few days left to submit my application!

Did you guys figure out what actually helped your case? I have the exact exact same problem and I'm really freaking out cos on a time limit too. Please let me know, iv done exactly everything you have done so far!

could you please help? Please, I am getting desperate! :)

I have the same problem you had in spring! I withdrawn my IEC profile (which was wrong, I made a stupid mistake)
but I cannot submit a new application because it says "you are already in the pool".
I filled the technical problem web form but so far no answer and no change :(
Can you tell me how you managed the problem?
