guys theres a easy solution to this problem, use LOWER CASE letters when entering ur passport then click VALIDATE, this worked for me and I was able to upload my documents, no problem so far.

when I click my checklist everything is completed except PERSONAL DETAILS which says 'In progress' which I've filled everything out , but it keeps asking me for my passport even though its already listed and if i try to add it again it says 'Document must not match a previously entered record'...
