Problems in downloading Form IMM5257~

Greetings,

I have problems in downloading the TRV form - IMM5257... When I clicked on the link, it shows a screen with asked me to update the Adobe software. I tried with their instructions but still failed to read it; few of my friends helped me to do but all failed.

Is there any way I can get it downloaded? I tried to google it and found some link (not from CIC itself), the new form (I guess so) seems only 2 pages with limited information provided compared to before (only 2 pages in total). May I know is that new form?

IMM 5257 (Application for Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside of Canada) is a 4-page long application. And when you 'validate' after filling out each blank, it will add another page (Page # 5) at the bottom.

Try switching your browser or update Adobe Reader/ Internet Browser.

Please, I have had the same problems ... it was resolved by changing the browser ... I have used the Mozilla Firefox and I've got the success. Please, try the same, ok? Best Regards, Carlos Morais

Guys, it is easy .... instead of clicking on the link left button, right click on the link and save the PDF on your hard drive. Then open from drive in native browser. Those javascripted forms are not working in Acrobat reader embedded in browser :0)

It's easy, to download the form using Adobe reader XI. You just need to change the settings of your google chrome browser. Although, you have the latest version of Adobe, but your browser may not be using that, and using the chrome PDF reader instead.
Just open the browser and go to chrome://plugins/ and enable the Adobe reader instead of the chrome PDF viewer

Anyone tell me about the point number 1 what should I write there its about UCI followed my 2 and 3 option I guess this is for office use ?? and I have three invitations but there is space for 2 persons ? How I will add 3rd person ?? After completing this form I have to valide this form for online application ?

another solution to this is..

1. copy the link of the form...
2. Open Adobe reader and choose "open" then paste the link in the filename field...

Hi Guys,

I was also facing same problem of getting adobe error to update adobe reader version. Even after trying it multiple times was getting error.

Then as suggested by one gentleman above, I tried the google chrome option and it worked. Find below the steps:

Google Chrome > Settings > Under Search Settings Text Field > enter "plugins" > Click on Content Settings Box > New window will open > Move down to Plugins > Click on Manage Individual Plugins > Click on "Disable" under Chrome PDF Viewer > Close Window

Try clicking on the CIC link where IMM52575.pdf is available and it should download the pdf form to your downloads folder of your pc.
