The email clearly states that you have to be in Canada to use the online portal. If you are not in Canada, you will have to inform IRCC and ask them to instead send the PPR.

Alternatively, you can return to Canada, and use the portal by confirming your residence in Canada. There is no date, but should be done within 1-2 weeks.

Same scenario for my case aswell. Received ecopr for primary and awaiting for my PR card & PPR for dependents since 2 months. Anyways you can try asking IRCC to provide PPR although unable to get any revert for Web form and GCMC notes.

Anybody (or dependents) got their passport stamped after PPR recently? If yes, please share timeline from package collection and delivery with stamped passport.

I got RFV (PPR) for my spouse in India in GC key account on 15th September and below are the timelines for his Passport stamping:

16th September submitted VFS webform for Passport pick up and drop
17th September Received Payment link
Paid fees on same day and got the pickup email with Airway bill details on same day.
18th Blue dart called for pick up but our package was not ready so we asked him to come on Monday 20th September
Blue dart guy picked up the package on 20th September
22nd September it reached Delhi IRCC
27th September we received notification that our passport dispatched
29th September received passport at home with stamped visa and COPR

I am inland applicant and my COPR was issued on 12th October, 1st email to confirm that I am inside Canada was on 18th September then credentials received on 22nd September.

They asked for a child’s remedical for me. But processed it very quickly.

bro, it depends...normally they are asking for the re-medicals for the outland dependents as the policy for medical extension only covers inland applicant

They asked for my kid. Moreover, even though im inland, they still asked mine too.

Yes in our RFV letter it was mentioned that if you are outside Canada please submit your passport to vfs and if you are inside Canada then please submit a webform to let us know you are in Canada so we will start your virtual landing process. So my husband submitted his Passport in India and I submitted a webform with my details then after 3 days i Received my 1st email for virtual landing.

Nothing was mentioned like PA has to get confirmation first. But yeah he couldn't travel until my copr. So i was worried as his COPR was valid till 24th November 2021 but finally I received my ecopr on 12th October

This week I got Biometric instruction letter for my dependent after 10 months for ongoing PR application. My dependent has already completed biometric for Spouse open work permit application in July 2021. Even i can see biometric information of my dependent in our PR profile on IRCC account. yesterday I talked to an CIC agent and he says its not updated/showing in their system. Detailed timeline in signature.

Should we go for another biometric?
or
Should we let IRCC inform that biometric is already done for another application via webform?

Can someone know what to do in this situation?

Book Biometrics appointment as there is long wait for that I suspect. Things might have changed now. Also, update about this to IRCC via webform. If by the appointment date they don't reply then no harm in going for it. It's IRCC and they get messy sometimes. Always be on safer side.
May be somebody who experienced this will guide you better.

People who as PA received eCOPR but still waiting for PPR for dependent overseas PLEASE like this comment. I want to just check how many of us are in same boat who missed RFV email last week. I am kinda freaking out because of dependent profile being created in online portal few weeks back. Please give input. Thanks.
