Do it by yourself,Consultant/Agent don't pay much attention after getting money and they may hide everything from their clients.
This happened with me when I hired a consultant and over the last few draws only those candidates got nomination who had valid job offer from PEI employer and were already residing in it.
And I didn't get any mail from PEI.My consultant trapped me to fetch further money but somehow I managed to get rid off it after I had discussion with other clients.

HEY everyone i am taking my time to help everyone here from my experience with pei pnp ee
first, its better to live in pei to get nominated for the pei pnp and once you are in the province its a do and die situation and you end up getting a job which will satisfy you to get your PEI PNP done or get nominated
second, i moved to PEI form ontario its hard to get a job but once you started to go in person everyday and drop off your resume at every fu.... store you will probably end up getting a job somewhere its not that you have to stay there but its somthing that meanwhile you can look for something better and pay your bills
third, advantage of living in pei is you can directly go to the immigration office and talk to one of the immigration officers about all your questions and concerns that is definitely one of the biggest help you get instead of hearing rumors form here and there besides that, once you are in province its 99.998 percent sure that you will get nominated if you fulfill all the requirements links to help (

I am currently living in Pei but I don’t know everything lol I know the process untill how to get nominated for Pei pnp according to old rules now they have changed recently in January 22 2018 and I am waiting for my ppr through Pei pnp express entry that’s how I found this forum but there is no information about Pei pnp express entry stream I read the whole discussion that’s why I thought may be I should add on something to help people who are outside the province or who will be reading this in future
