There are quite a number of people, on here and on the sacanada forum, who suddenly changed to "In Process" this week. Could there be a reason for this?

really I don't know what is the reason behind it not only pretoria office but also other cic offices applicants got this update and address removed from the ecas.
my consultant says that they r changing the system so it is normal. in one or two weeks they will update the inside details.
keep in touch to get and let others progrges know.

today my ecas status is showing address. that was not there since Tuesday but other details are unchanged i mean it is still in process and inside details are same as they were at the time of RBVO.

Hi, I am also applying thru Pretoria Office. but my application was submitted after June 26th. It seems that I am the only one who is applying this program here. but I am so happy that I have found South Africa Fellows here.



I want to ask a question.

I have missed 2 private calls (numbers hidden) last week. I am so concerned that it was Pretoria Office calling.

Will Pretoria call with their number hidden or not? Are they sending the AOR via Email or letter (normal mail)?

Hey guys.

I have just skipped past most of the replies in this post.
But just to let you know, I applied end of Dec 2004 and have only now just received my visa. They took so bloody long (7 years) and then decided to give me my visa 3 weeks before my medical exam expires.
So if your visa is taking 2 or 3 years count yourselves very lucky!

Congrats Andrewkw!! ;D Better late than never! At least you are through! Only God knows when 2005 Pretoria applicants (esp March 2005 and above) are going to receive their visas at this rate..... :

Yea, it is a long and painful process...and just when you think your time must be near they throw something else at you that then takes another year. The best thing is to just carry on with life the best you can and one day you get that surprise email.

Hi to Pretoria Applicants look at my my timeline I hope it givessyou hope. There was no additional documents requested. Interview Waived

so it was 7/2 months from the second AOR to In Process and and 7/2 months to medical.

atleast a hope in the dark. mine is also in process since feb 8 2011 but with rbvo details. i don't know what will happened. any way wish you a good luck for you for the passport request that you will receive very soon.

Congrats Mak387! ;D seems Pretoria has finally woken up. Hope we'll all be getting our medicals soon too. It seems it's the in-canada applicants who are currently getting medicals now. Good luck with the PPR and the rest of the process.

Hi all fellow PTA applicants

My application is likewise with PTA since May 2010 when my file was transferred. 1st AOR 26 April 2010. I submitted my full docs on 6 July 2010. No 2nd AOR but got confirmation through e-CAS that PTA has received my application. "In Process" on Feb 2011 but pending review. NOC code 0111/1111. Patiently waiting for med request but getting hopes dashed each day that I don't hear or see anything. :'( Preparing for a very long wait.

Will email case-specific enquiry in Sept when 14 months is up (as per CIC website of how long it takes for Pretoria to finalise applications).

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March *****. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Pretoria office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the Pretoria office on March *****. The Pretoria office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on November 7, 2011.
the last line is new and it is in process since february.
please comment how long to get medical request?
