Viktoria,

but you have been asked to provide the work book during your Interview which is gonna take place in October 17, 2011. Why have you sent it 2 months ago? however, did you send the work book as I assumed it was?

Don't worry, they'll ask you about all your previous and current jobs and tasks you performed(ing).
They have doubts on those things. so be prepared to say accordingly as they ask you during the interview. as your English is concerned, I have always seen people stay more focused during such interviews and do well in understanding the person who takes the interviews. They know that English is not the regular language for you so its normal to make some mistakes.
Jnathan,

VO asked for additional document on July, one of them was work book.

Thank you for your support.

Dear Qorax and Members,

I recently had an interview with CHC..
After my interview the immigration officer told me that he was approving my application and the only thing left is my security clearence after which I will receive a passport request from CHC Lodnon.. I was wondering how long does it usually take to perform security clearence since my medicals will be expiring in the first week of feb 2012, which I mentioned infront of immigration officer aswell. Upon which He told me that when an individual's medicals are expiring they try their best to complete case before the expiration of medicals...
Also how strong is my case now since immigration officer has approverd it finally...

Regards,
Sohail Khan

sohail-khan86,

tense moments and a good pass for you. :)
Security clearances fro Pakistani guys are rather different and tougher. if your security file is now in CSIS's hand then it could take some time and in that case you have nothing to do it to increase the pace. CIC works on a chain of offices and sometimes VO's dont have anything to do in cases like yours where he can only conduct the interview and rest of the things are on other hands.

I don't think your case would take more time. the only problem if the Medical's validity gets over, you'd have to redo the medicals for you.

I was at the interview yesterday. The lady officer wanted to hear about my job responsibilities. I paraphrased my Letter of recommendation from my employer and applied supporting document from the Pension Insurance as evidence of my work experience. I had and other documents but the lady officer said that they have enough document and not got them.

The lady was very polite and professional. At the end she said she heard everything what wanted to hear and interview was finished.

I asked what is the outcome of my application, she said they would review the documents and will inform me.

Now I wait again. :( :( :(

What about if somebody own a house with a mortgage for this property.
Is there any chance to be asked in the interview for this fact?
Do you think that this is a problem for their decision?
Thanks
