That's too many questions, seriously, how long will it take? Now I know the importance of being honest in answering questions.
Thank you mavrick09,mavrick09in said:My interview experience on 22nd Sept 2011 -- ND VO. Like to post my expereince as it might be useful to anyone who may be called for an interview in future.
The story begins:
I reached the CHC ND around 7.45 AM & my interview was scheduled at 8.45 AM.Around 8.30 AM the security officer announced that the candidates for the interview can stand in line along with the interview letter. I presented my letter at the security officer & he asked me to wait for my call for the security check. I was asked to keep my ID proof ready. Once my name was announced I went for the security check & entered the reception area around 8.45 AM. I gave my letter to the receptionist and she asked me to wait in the hall.
In 5/7 min my name was called & was instructed to go to cabin no. 2 I walked in the cabin n greeted the lady officer & I took a seat. After giving some instructions like I need to give correct & true information & if found incorrect this can lead to the refusal of my visa, the lady asked my at present what I am doing? ( as I have left my previous job ). I have applied under 1122 cat ( Team training specialist) & had an exp. of 12 yrs in travel industry.
After that she asked me the roles & responsibilities I was performing during 10 yrs of my job, which I told her. As I was speaking with her she was typing the details on her system.
Then she asked my to give the details of my job ie. the period I joined & the promotions which I got. Plz make sure that you give the details with exact dates ( day/month/year).
After that she asked the duties I performed according to my post & promotions. Next question was did I apply through consultant which I said yes & gave the details of the consultant. After checking the details on her system she said that I dont fit the roles which 1122 offers. I clarified why I have applied under 1122 which I think she was not convencied.
After this question I realized that my interview is over & was 100% sure that my case will be refused.
She continued asking me that what will I do if I go to Canada / do I have freind or relatives in canada/ will you be staying with them . ( plz tell that initially you will be doing some odd jobs & then will try to find the job of you cat you have applied). After that she asked me if I dont get a job in my cat then for which I said that I will taking canadian education which will help me to get a job.
After 15/20 mins she said she is finished taking my interview & to great surprise she said that she is approving my application & I will be getting the medical request in few days. I was totally astonished. She then asked me how many years I have been married & asked me to show some pics of my marraige. I asked her if she has any other questions to ask which she said its fine so I thanked her & came out. To be honest I will not belive that I am through untill I get a medical request.
In short the VO's are unpredictable, but the lady VO was very nice & polite. I think that if you try to over convince then your case might screw up & try to answer the queries in short.
This is my exp which I thought to share with you all..... best of luck to all & goD blEss
