I m in another doubt here whether i ll fill the amount only in CAD in gap of assets (FORM--ECONOMIC CLASSES) & any proof is necessary regarding described amount of assets???? Asset means What??? land, gold, car?? Bank account will b added or not? my settlement fund will b added here?? I think proof of settlement fund is mandatory but about assets????? With thanks--ROY

Show the total amount of your fund in CAD. Car, jewellery, land valuation is not acceptable. Say you have FDR/Savings balance of BDT 15lac. Say also its in CAD 18000. Then write 18000 in asset option. Settlement fund= Asset-liab. If you have no liab, Your settlement fund is equal to your asset.

Applied for CIC, Sydney: January 2010
Got 1st AOR: March, 2010
Submitted full file at SGVO: November, 2010
Got 2nd AOR: January 2011

Currently, I live in Montreal, Canada for my PhD. I resided 2008 to August 2010 in USA to complete my MSc. When I applied for PR in Canada, my wife was living in Bangladesh and me, in USA. Thats why, I applied to SGVO.

I have another problem regarding my IELTS exam. I sat for IELTS on July 2008 and I applied to CIC, Sydney, NS, Canada on January 2010. So, IELTS result was more than a year older during my application inauguration and at that time CIC validation for IELTS was 01 year. I know, CIC recently announced that IELTS results will be valid for 02 years instead of 01 year.

Please reply if anyone has an answer of that.
