Greetings,
I am a Canadian citizen on a professors Visa in Japan and my wife is pregnant with our second child, due in September. We've been married 3 years and have no background or family problems. Should we apply for PR now with medicals and have the x-rays done after the birth of our second child? Or wait until after the birth of our child? I know we could wait another two months, but any extended separation will be quite the emotional hardship. Would we have to pay translation fees for the documents again after the birth?
On another note, why does it seem as though phone support is only for inland applicants but not outland applicants? You would figure a process such as immigration would be much more accommodating.
Any help or advice would be great.
