Pregnant GF on Visitor Status and Future application for PR

Katerina, is there a reason you went to a hospital for the ultrasound and not just a clinic? I am also pregnant and don't have OHIP but I only pay around $150 for the ultrasounds as I go to Gamma X-ray or other imaging clinics like that. I am afraid that they are charging you the hospital admittance fee even though you're just going for a simple ultrasound

Yes, I go to CML for bloodwork and Gamma for ultrasounds.

personally, I go back and forth for my care, of course my hospital is only an hour away. I'll just stay stateside when my due date gets closer. Due to my insurance situation and the nature of my pregnancy. Customs so far hasn't minded ( knock on wood) but they aren't exactly thrilled either. I do asked more what my relationship with my husband is ( he always drives me). Just do the research and see your options. I'd find someone somewhere to evaluate you personally because whether or not you're high risk should weigh into the equation.
