Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
AOR Received.
16-12-2016
Hey guys!
I have a question.
My wife and I applied for the PR through express entry two weeks ago, this means we already took our medical exams. We already received our AOR and we are currently waiting for CIC processing. Do we to have the legal obligation to notify CIC if we happen to get pregnant during the wait for the PR result???
Thanks!

BTW we are already in Canada and we applied for the BOWP last week. Thanks!

Yeah, just drop an email note to IRCC (CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca) with your EE profile # and application number and state the change.

They will let you know the next steps.

Don't forget about the fact that because of the baby she might need to show more money as Proof of Funds unless she applied through Canadian Experience Class. (I'm not sure if the rule applies to unborn babies already)

If your wife get pregnant whiles waiting for your PR, no need you inform CIC because you will complicate issue and if you don't take time it will affect your waiting period. Wait till your wife give birth then you can alert them.

Indeed, you may even get your PR before the baby is born. If you are in Canada the baby will be born a Canadian citizen anyway. There's no need to tell them anything at this stage.

No need to notify IRCC until actual change in family status (i.e. the child is born). If the change happens after you get PR, no need to notify at all (in case and child is born in Canada).

Thanks guys!
Where can I certify this information?
Thanks!

just wait for your kid born then email CIC the information of your kid
if your baby is born in Canada or to a first generation Can citizen, then the kid will be Canadian and the birth certificate would be probably enough
if your baby is not Canadian citizen by birth, then they may ask for more information and medical exam etc
We are having a baby next summer as well :P
