PRE_ARRIVAL SERVICE BEFORE ARRIVING CANADA

Hi everyone.


The Sponsorship application of my husband was received by CIC Feb 28. 2016
May 26 2016 He went for his medical exam.
From then on to this date we don't have any updates what is going on to his papers.

Last Monday Oct 24 2016. He received a letter about Pre-arrival service Before arriving Canada.
It's a information only, it doesnt include any letter that the immigration is requesting for his passport to be sent over to Canadian
visa office in Manila.

I feel worried. What is the sense of letter Pre-arrival services? If that is for info only but what's the used of it the info if he nothing to use it for? where is his passport request letter?

manila VO sends out the pre-arrival services letter for applications that have been approved. you'll be getting your PPR very soon.

Hello po. My husband also received this letter with no passport request. Any updates on your husband's process? We just received the email yesterday and is wondering how long we have to wait til the PPR.

I had this happen to me last month, and again this month. I'm so confused as to why manila immigration would send the pre-arrival services email to me twice - once in October and once in November!

Any insight on this? I hope your right that its for applications that have already been approved but again....why send it to me two times!?!?

I had the same case too my husband recieved the pre-arrival twice last month and yesterday.It's so confusing why they keep sending that...Let's keep praying maybe the next letter would passport request for visa.

even those who have received PPR still got pre-arrival so I guess it's not a very valid basis on when to get PPR. I don't know what is going on with CEM :'(

hello! I just received that email as well. But no PPR or any message aside from the Pre-arrival services message. I am hoping that it is a positive sign for us..

yes its all a good sign but sending it many times, what I feel is they using it to buy time before sending ppr out.

Got this letter on 7/13.

Passport request on 7/24

It's a good sign, no need to worry, just be patient .
