hello
i need help please if anyone had experience as far as my wife overseas had gotten pre-arrival letter but without asking for medical she sent police certificate already so is it normal ? and what is the next step ?

Pre arrival means they determine u r in genuine relation, but it’s not approval yet. There is some steps left, background check for example. Send a webform and ask them why u still didn’t get medical?!

Very rare..... I suggest you search the forums, I have never seen applicants get denied after they get pre arrival... Why would the officer send pre arrival if you are not approved? This cost a lot of money for the government to finance... It's not a free service. Don't forget that the ones who got pre arrival, they also have background check in process at the same time of eligibility... So, they already know that your background is clean. Also, the police certificate also shows if the applicant has a criminal past or not.

Can be denied if background check done after determining that relation is genuine. For me, for example pre arrival was sent first and only after that background check started. Saw one case that received pre arrival after interview and then case was denied later on because of some criminal offense in the past.

But it is very rare this happens If the police certificate is clean then there will be no issues... Show me an instance on this forum where someone got rejected after they have received Pre arrival, I bet you won't find one.

Yeah, that is very rare though... I bet his police certificate stated this also, it was certainly not a clean police record. Relationship was genuine but the PA's past was a problem.

Exactly... I am not sure about if pcc was clean or not, depends what info goes on there. Anyway, it’s rare and people usually know they have issues in the past.

I received pre arrival service latter on 13 Nov, 2019 after receiving this latter how much time take for Passport submission ?

Yes, they got their approval and passport request on October 10, 2019.

Yes that’s passport request and it’s a good news, begin to pack your bags

I had interview in ndvo on 28 jan on 30 jan i got per arrival when will they send PPR ?

background check started Jan. 2020 and completed September 3rd 2020
Letter of pre-arrival September 4th, 2020....
