Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Who here received pre-test RQ and didn't recieve a notice to prepare for test/request to attend test? Please share your timeline. Cheers

I responded to RQ in May 2013. Haven't heard anything back from CIC since then. Depressing!

Same here...RQ submitted April 2013 and no notice to prepare for the test yet. Which office are you in? My file is currently at St. Clair but originally was in Kitchener

Soopergal our timelines are similar. Applied June 2012, in process Jan 2013, RQ submitted April, no test notice. I also got RQ based on extensive travel due to work. No test notice. My MP was told by CIC that i will be called for a JH but did not mention any specific timeline. MP asked to follow up in 3 months.

Have any of you guys contacted CIC by any chance. I would if I were you - I was pre-RQed and already have become a Canadian and in similar timelines with some of you. My timeline is in my signature. Good luck to you all

I've called CIC hotline many times. Call center is repeating the same information I already know "Wait for the Test". :o It's a joke. I already got AITP once, I may be requesting another update soon. It's a shame I have to waste tax payers money on AITP requests. I cost me only $5 but I'm sure it costs more than that to produce it. Call center should be able to provide updates.

My file is in St. Clair.

Hmmm...I'm wondering if I have to see a JH as well. If that's the case, why can't the CIC tell me that without having to go through an MP? Argh!

Did you travel a lot? Why do you think you got an RQ?

mind you the CIC call centre can't really look into your file much more than what you see on e-cas. it is done to prevent them for accessing private data on applicants. when you request ATIP, you are authorizing someone in writing to read your data. hence why CIC is most times "useless" but that is for a reason.

The CIC will know more than we do. Example: They know the date our file has been transferred and the date it was accepted by the local office (we don't have access to such info). Once I had a question in regards to my ATIP report. The CIC agent was able to pull out a copy and follow the page number and comment that was in question.

What they should be doing is extracting appropriate data from the database and displaying in e-cas. If they did that they would have got less calls to the call center may be even make the call center second level support line. They should hire me. I would have fixed it in a couple of months ;D

I called CIC after MP's follow up and all they told me was the standard reply "we don't need anything from you at this time, wait for 36 months after your application reciept date, so wait till June 2015". Not even a single word about JH. Hence why contacting CIC is worthless.

I am waiting for 3 months to follow up with the MP. Also by that time my case would have hit 24 months timeline since application. I will be pressing hard this time and may even talk to another MP.

yes i traveled a lot.and it's my second application.i first apply in 2007 and had judge hearing in 2010 who denied my application because of 65 missing days and told me "you missed the train once ,don't miss the next :)"
