It's a joke. I already got AITP once, I may be requesting another update soon. It's a shame I have to waste tax payers money on AITP requests. I cost me only $5 but I'm sure it costs more than that to produce it. Call center should be able to provide updates. mind you the CIC call centre can't really look into your file much more than what you see on e-cas. it is done to prevent them for accessing private data on applicants. when you request ATIP, you are authorizing someone in writing to read your data. hence why CIC is most times "useless" but that is for a reason.Soopergal said:I've called CIC hotline many times. The CIC will know more than we do. Example: They know the date our file has been transferred and the date it was accepted by the local office (we don't have access to such info). Once I had a question in regards to my ATIP report. The CIC agent was able to pull out a copy and follow the page number and comment that was in question.chakrab said:

I called CIC after MP's follow up and all they told me was the standard reply "we don't need anything from you at this time, wait for 36 months after your application reciept date, so wait till June 2015". Not even a single word about JH. Hence why contacting CIC is worthless.bangloboy said:
