Its all right, Canadian Dreams. In case of your fund changes, its not wise to knock the visa office time to time. Visa office will ask you to send so when they require. It is advised in the website not to contact unless changes in the contact address, marital status change, email contact change, new born babies.
But Deba, will it not be questioned by VO:

> At stage 1 POF was shown as FD
> Later those FDs were forefeited & they do not exist anymore.
> At stage 2 if VO is X-chking the PoF with the Bank & get a reply that the fund / FDs no longer exist.
> At Stage 3 suddenly a New FD is shown for which bulk of funds are recently deposited.

I am sure VO will question the source & will doubt about the FDs shown earlier.

On friday April 13th 2012, i received my caips.

On my ecas its shows that on Feb 22th 2012 my application was put in process

On my caips it says that my file was revise on this date( Feb 22th 2012), it also says i have been awarded 67 points. On the part that it talks about

Medical it also says the same date but the due day is on -June 22 2012 so i guess i have to still wait for my medical to come.

I wish some body can help me with a funds issue that i have on my caips it says that

Satisfied that PA meets MI1 under NOC 7312 Heavy duty mechanic I have reviewed document submitted and satisfied that PA met selection criteria (67 points) Settlement funds: Benefit of doubt given- PA has an extract from Xe.com showing that this is equivalent to 36K cda but bank letter is missing.

so i do not really know what this means.

i do not have the money in cash, My wife has a house that the value for the government of my country is worth 36K us dollar but the commercial value i mean if i was to sell the house to a normal person would be much higher ( went i sent my application for the fund proof i sent in a copy of a received of the annual taxes i have to pay to city hall for having this house and on it, it shows what is the value of the house.) If i get my visa to canada i am going to sell the house and with the money i get i will take it to canada as proof of funds

Since the letter was dated 28 March 2012, so we can say that we not only have to consider delays in mail delivery but also "delay in despatching letters by them"

Hi Canadian Dreams bro,
Visa offices are processing applications years after years. They know well that FDs are opened for a certain period of time. Its true if client continues, the FD number remains the same. But in case the terms changes, say for an example a 3 months duration project altered to 6 months, definitely the number shall change.

From experience of my many friends, those who are already in Canada, visa office did not require RPRF for those who kept their balance in the same account. But most of the cases, the applicants closed the FD accounts and opened newer accounts which the visa office was not supposed to know. In this case, visa office required them to send RPRF with medical or only RPRF before medical for a few cases. If they had sufficient balance (almost 70%) throughout the periods, they were safe. They did not face any problem for not maintaining the account they sent before or for not informing the visa office.

However, people might face a question of doubt when they closed the account and do not maintain a standard balance throughout the periods. When the VO asks them to send so, they open a new account or do deposit a sudden big amount. In this case, an explanation is needed.

Thank you,
deba

In my opinion you are given benefit of doubt, so no need for an updated POF.

I think funds should be in Bank/PF/Share etc and property valuation is not considered as proof of funds
