thanks for sharing dear, Canadian Dreams and a good review by dear nano (+1 for both of u)
in my opinion, in this case concern of VO is justified and rational
apart from this i want to point out another aspect of these letters(i have seen somehow similar one issued to one of the clients of my known consultant), that CHC-ND is in real hurry to finish up the backlog and have given a little time for applicants to provide updated information. otherwise, if they had ample time they would have given more.
Now suppose, once review is completed for all the prejuners and CHC-ND doesn't issue any medicals. Then, due to change in family composition and for many other reasons, CHC-ND would have to review, the already reviewed applications. That may be a further overhead for VO. Neat of the text is that CHC will be issuing Medicals soon for the reviewed applications. It is just a matter of days
again just another thought, waiting for comments...
I have the scan of letter received by my consultant yesterday, can't paste the whole letter but updating the vital contents in simple language as below:
VO writes (Dated 28-March-2012) to PA (Female)
You do meet the selection Criteria (Points 67 or above) but not satisfied that you will be able to ecnomically adapt yourself in Canada due to below reasons:
1. IELTS assessment you have scored 6 out of possible 16 points in your first language with an over all band score 5.0 & in 2nd language it is 0 so you scored 6 out of possible 24. This hinders your finding employment & establish economically in Canada. (She should have worked & improved on this point prior to submittting her full docs)
I kind of agree on this. For 4131 profession she does need high IELTS score.
2. No evidence of your spouse (husband's) english level ability. So I am not satisfied if your spouse is having adequate english level ability for finding employment in his field of expertise or related field. (STRANGE what does VO expects here, IELTS of SPOUSE also).
Spouse ability in English is never a reason for rejection.
3. Bank statements show sudden large funds deposits for which source is unknown. (We have a long un-ending debate related to this in another thread, now we understand the significance of funds proof)
Agree on this though.
4. Not satisfied that your old canadian citizen & his wife will be able to support you in canada since they just have $ 21k (CAD) as their personal credit. (So they not only see that you have a relative in Canada but also if that relative can support you)
This is BS.
5. Finally your relative lives in X location & you are planning to settle in Y location 300 kms away, not satisfied that they will be able to help you settle in Y location. ( Now think how critically the information provided by us is being examined, Imagine the extent of analysis done by the VO)
This is BS.
Giving you an opportunity to reply on above concerns & provide additional documents within 30 days from the date of this letter.
If you will not reply a decision will be made based on present information in your file.
Sincerely
Signed
