Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS)

Good day.

I have an inquiry. Please help me. I already have my open work visa. I am under the sponsorship of my Filipino common-law partner who is currently in Nova Scotia Antigonish. I already asked POEA if I need to get an Overseas Employment Certificate. They informed me that I don’t need one because I still don’t have an employer. My question is do I still have to get a pre-departure orientation seminar (PDOS)? If yes, how will I go about it? Thank you.

Hi po, good day! would like to ask po of you are in Canada na po and took PDOS? same situation here, I do not know if I needed to take PDOS po.
