I applied for PR card Renewal online on 27th Nov and haven't heard anything yet. No email confirmation, no AOR and no status update on the portal. The status shows "Submitted". I also tried linking my application to my GCKey but it couln't find any applications with the information I provided. So it seems like it hasn't even been picked up for processing yet. I've been watching this thread to get an idea on the timeline and seems like some folks have been waiting for longer. My PR card expires on 19-Dec-2023 and not sure how long this thing might take. Will definitely share an update as soon as I hear something. Also, can you please share the number where I can speak with IRCC personnel to get an update on my app?
You are within normal processing time so there is no need to call IRCC. You should receive AOR in the next 2 weeks but due to holidays there could be an extra delay. Would compare to others posting their processing times. If you are within a few weeks of others posting their processing time be patient and you will get through the renewal process as well. Unless your processing time is drastically different than others there is no need to contact IRCC.

Thanks for your response! I hope so too. I'll also keep an eye out on how quick it's being processed for the others.

Please, can I used IMM 5444 03-2023?? or I must used the 5444 08-2023?
In the part 5.5 of the form 5444 08-2023
, the period to be assessed is not opening (particulary the part FROM....). In your view, that mean I must write that part with a pen?? Thank you for your consideration.

Thanks for your reply! Do you reckon applying online was not such a good idea to begin with on my part? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it isn't the case.
can't say.. but the good news is my aunt's application got approved today and the PR has been mailed by them.

Congratulations! Could you please share which number you used to call IRCC? I have not been able to speak to an agent for months now. Submitted my application in March along with those for my children. My children got theirs and I am still awaiting mine.
Update:

Having read here and seen that the processing time has been really fast in the last two months, we tried calling the IRCC last week. One day, instead of using my husband's ID, we used mine and where somehow able to speak with an agent. She could not explain why our PR cards were not processed yet and told us she would escalate it. We got our PR cards four business days later. It was processed a day after we spoke to an agent.

Best wishes to those of you still waiting.

As a way to give back to this great community that helped me out with good insights, here are some details about my family online PR card renewal process and a very important remark about traveling with an old PR card while waiting for the renewal. Make sure you read till the end:

12 Oct 2023: Applied Online for the whole Family of 5 (Self+ Wife + Child 1 + Child 2 + Child 3)

12 Oct 2023: Immediately after each online submission I got an email confirmation except for my wife.

30 Oct 2023: Got the following error msg on the PR renewal portal:
- Primary identification is not provided (Child 2 & Child 3)
- Photos are missing (Self & Child 1)
All Action buttons were greyed, so clearly a glitch in the system.

30 Oct 2023: Managed to link Wife's application to my IRCC account, shows as application submitted. No luck with linking all remaining applications.

2 Nov 2023:

Spoke to IRCC asking for details why 4 applications are showing error messages, she confirmed it was a glitch on the system and that all applications were approved and sent for printing already by 30 Oct 2023 except for my wife's application which she confirmed it was looking good but is still under processing.

16 Nov 2023: 3 (out of 5) cards received in the mailbox (Self, Chil1 and Child 3)

20 Nov 2023: Child 2 PR Card received in the mailbox (Child 2)

15 Dec 2023: GU 1: Wife's PR on IRCC portal shows Application/Profile updated: Final decision - December 14, 2023

18 Dec 2023: GU 2: Wife's PR Card mailed. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive

19 Dec 2023: Called IRCC to check if we can travel while waiting for Wife's PR renewed card and to my extreme surprise, IRCC agent said that old card was already made INVALID, I challenged her that this is against what is written in the IMM 5445 Guide: "Upon issuance of a new PR card, your existing (or old) PR card will be invalid after 60 days following the date of issuance of the new card."
She said this was a very good question but she had no answer and only said that if you need to travel now, my wife would need to apply for a PRTD from abroad !!!

22 Dec 2023: Wife's PR Card received in the mailbox. Could not ask for a better gift for now and our travel plan can now be less stressful :)

Total Time from online application till card receipt: 35 Days (for 3 cards) 39 Days (for 1 card) 71 Days (for 1 card)

PS: We live in Montreal, QC and all cards were sent from Sydney, NS.
