Hi All,
Is there a link where one can check PR card renewal status online? One of my friend applied in February and has not heard since so he asked me for guidance on what he can do. If you can suggest anything that can help. Thanks!

I still see "Final decision - September 13, 2023:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made. "

I was able to link the application on Sept 15, 2023
Current Status "We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive."

But the PR Portal still shows incomplete application and the view button is greyed out. Hopefully i will receive the card soon

Submitted my application for renewal online in April. Finally received my card today.

Do you have a complex case? My husband submitted his April 11/23, they started processing it July 10/23. Still says In Process online ... we've contacted then multiple times but they always give the same generic email.

So we applied by paper for both my mum and dad on July 25th. We got an AOR for both parents on 21st August and my dad's was approved within 7 days and sent by mail and received last week. But I can't find any status of my mums even though the AOR was received and both applications were sent together. Anyone had this issue before were the CIC status check can't find the application even after the AOR and the other application approved.

My timeline: Applied for PR card renewal online July 9th,2023 -Single
Kept showing "submitted" in the account and no AOR or any other notification.
Didn't call them. Didn't link with GCkey.
September 20th, 2023 - New Card in my mailbox

We didn't! Our MP's office let us know that the delay was due to a change in address. I had called up a few months back to provide our new address/phone (since we became PR's and officially landed in Canada). Both my husband and I just received our cards last week.

HI all,

I applied for PR card renewal last week. My question is do we get an email saying they received our application? And how do we know the status? I checked the website where i submitted the application, and the only status that I see is "Submitted".

New Card Received in mail: Sept 25. 2023.

We managed to link my wife's PR card renewal application using GC Key. She had applied in June 7. The status is that they have mailed the PR card on Sept 26. Hopefully, we should get the card in a couple of weeks.

I submitted my PR card renewal application through online portal and now the status shows Return Reason - Payment is Missing. I have attached proof of payment so don't know why it is returned. Has anyone else also faced same issue?
