Hello Everyone!
I am looking to submit a renewal application for my wife PR and have a situation where her name on Indian passport is my last name and her PR card is still her Last name at birth. upon seeing the amount of work involved we decide to keep everything to remain with her last name at birth. now at the time of renewal will it be a problem to renew and get the PR card with her last name at birth where as her passport having my lastname. any advice or help is highly appreciated.

No idea how long they gonna take to print the card

Yesterday my online pr renewal application gets "Primary identification is not provided Incomplete application" in return reason. But the status is still "Submitted". View button is grayed. I am not sure what to do about it. Anyone has any similar experience or suggestion? Thanks.

Dear All, I need your support.

I submitted my online application for a PR renewal on July 10.

On October 19, I connected my application to GC Key.

"Final decision - October 10, 2023:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

how long this will take for it to show approved or rejected. and do i need to keep checking my GC key or i will be notified by an mail

I’ve noticed if you don’t have lot of travel entries outside canada, approval is faster provided you’ve met RO , meaning, lived in Canada for 730 days in last 5 years.
If you’ve a lot of travel entries in the past 5 years, 4-6 months minimum. Look like.
I’ve applied for renewal on June29th and mine is still in progress.

I contacted CIC today to inquire about my application status. The agent informed me that my application is currently in the queue for PR card printing, and the processing time is approximately 4 weeks. These timelines seem quite lengthy

Is the status in your GC key still showing as “in progress”

Email of receiving 18th of september.
On 20th of September it says decision made..when I click on it says we are processing.

This is confusing. Any views?

I called last Friday and got the similar response too.

I just called IRCC, agent told me that PR card was sent for printing and it’s in Queue and it can take 4 weeks to process from now on.
Looks like they’re not updating the GC key profile for anyone.
I’m glad that I was able to reach an agent and hear the actual update

Saw an update in GC key today renewal application approved and PR card has been mailed yesterday. So weird.
