Hi,

My current timeline for PR cards renewal is
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on August 6, 2019.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 12, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on August 12, 2019.
till now no more updates nor asked for any documents.. and upon phone calling they couldn't find any further update and they just keep mentioning as it exceeded the processing time they will submit status update which get a reply in 4 weeks!!

any idea or help in the current situation what can be the problem or is it normal?

FYI my residency inside Canada around 760 days and PR cards already expired by the time I applied and I applied for myself and family also I submitted just the requested documents in the checklist, nothing more.. thanks!

also anyone who submitted on the same timeframe and still stuck in process?
thanks

Hi

Yes I have a similar timeline too and I'm still waiting as well.
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on August 8, 2019.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 14, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on August 14, 2019.
You'll probably get yours before mine. Please do post here when you receive an update. It'll give me hope that my reply is around the corner :)

Did anybody tried to call ?
I tried once but line was very busy and I could not reach the agent.
What I noticed is before there was processing time of 12 days then it became 14 days and now its 15 days. So I guess office might be getting more application and got busy.
I will let you know when I will get any update.
Is Ecas updated during daytime or night time. ?
