I sent my application for PR card renewal on Jan27 and yesterday I got an email from CIC saying that my application has been received on Feb 1.
Now I can see my application on ECAS and the status is "decision made" but it doesn't say if it's approved or rejected.
Here's my timeline.
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on February 1, 2019.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 20, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on February 20, 2019.
Decision made on the first day itself can mean only one thing... :) ... Congrats...

Hello immigrant7: I just checked my application status and it states "DECISION MADE", when I clicked on it, it says that "We started processing your application on Feb 20th", what does this mean and why does it already say decision made?
Just as I replied above, 99.99% it means approved. :) ..

Hello everyone.

I sent my application in 21 January 2019.

They received on 25 January 2019

They started processing on 13 February 2019.
(No AoR email sent by them or received by me, I am sure - is this common / normal)?

Currently showing "Decision Made" (I checked on 19th February 2019 and saw this status)

Please advise.

Also any idea when I will get the card (assuming approval)?

Anybody? Any idea(s)? I was so anxious and freaking out.

Congrats on the AOR.
No spreadsheet as such. Maybe you can start one and give the link here.

And for ECAS, it takes one day. But you could find the updates in myCIC within couple of hours after AOR.

All the best,
Thanks, you are right it took almost 24 hours. My Ecas status is already Decision Made, hopefully it is a good thing

Is this normal? Like different applicants having different messages on their application ECAS?

Some getting AoR, some getting "decision made" directly without AoR, some getting "approved" on ECAS and some getting "card mailed to you" directly (after application received, processing date and decision made)??

My card was mailed to me on the 11th but nothing in The post... I’m in Toronto. Anyone else in a similar situation?
My friend in Toronto got his family's cards in 2 days after mail out. He said the envelope came by speed Post. Regular processing, 30 days. Here you were waiting since 11th. Other's too likewise.

I honestly don't understand how can a single Govt agency have such different and varying performance standards for the same job. It was insane.

Your options: wait some more or call CIC and ask them. They will tell you what everyone here will tell you : wait and call them again after 2 weeks.

Due to the snow I’m giving it some extra time.
