PRC (Permanent Resident Card) Renewal Timeline 2019

Hi all,
I sent my application during holidays.
I got an email on Monday Jan 28th CIC received my application on Dec 31st.
I linked the account today and still is under review. Question the 58 days counts business only or weekends ?

It is calendar days.
But then, that number is a guideline, not a mandate. 80% of the applictions will be processed in that timeframe.

*I tried many times but finally I used the entry option Last name Surname and DOB.
Your application number is on the email you received on top and starts with R plus 9 digits. Use of options I tried several times with UCI and always shows not received or found.

There are many threads on here, which explains in detail about linking to myCIC. I have read, Sometimes it gets tricky. You can try using the multiple available options. Only issue is once can try a max of 5 times a day.

Status in ECAS is Decision made, and the last line is :

So just heard can post issued a no work in most of Canada... because of the severe weather.

Anyone received theirs in the last couple days that live in BC? Vancouver and surrounding areas?

My card was sent thru mail on Feb 6th. Just wondering how long it takes from wherever they come from to us in BC.

My status was 'Decision made' since January 16, 2019. I applied for an urgent renewal of PR card (on January 10, 2019), as my trip was Feb 05, 2019. I got a job at the same Country where my husband is posted as a staff of the United Nations. My residency requirement is under the framework 'accompanying a Canadian Citizen'. Does the above mean my application is not approved for urgent process? Now it's almost 4 weeks since 'decision made'….do you think it means my PR renewal is approved??? Please I need your advise...I am under high stress.

Why the high stress? You don't need a PR card unless you are returning to Canada. You need to learn how to get relaxed.

My card was sent on feb 4 and I received it yesterday. We stay in Edmonton. Yours should be in transit, give it some more time. At least 4 business days!

Did you try to check the status on MyCIC account.
Also, another option is to call IRCC and check whats the block.

Not sure if they are all related. But it did take more time for my card to arrive as well. Where as my partner's card had come faster last month.

I just check my CIC account even though they say you will get an email when there is any update it does NOT work that way. I saw they approved my PR yet there is no information about Mailing date. An extra line appears stating a new document with all PR information. Any idea where or how they communicate about mailing ?
