thanks Louth, wow....according to our agent, our visa will expire one year upon med request has been issued...so he keeps telling us since our request was dated Jan. 2012....our visa is going 5 months now...we completed medical on Feb.LOUTH said:From my personal experience ,the validity of medical report start to count from the day you visit your dmp and completed the medical examination. So pr visa will expire exactly one year from this date.

The visa shall be valid -
a) till 1-yr from the "date of your med report", OR
b) the "Expiry date of your passport", OR
c) the "Expiry date of any of your accompanying family members' passport"'.
Whichever of the above is earlier.
Hope that helped.

Can u clarify what u mean by 'date of medical report'
Is this the day you give tests ?
OR the day when immigration sent letter asking you to go take the tests ?
Thanks
