PR Visa printing in CIC Delhi consulate

Did my landing today at CIC office. I was told by the officer, the primary applicant has the do the landing first in order for dependents to get the visa and CoPR.
She also mention, she will sent the email to the visa office to issue the visa and CoPR for my dependents.

Finally got a response from CIC 2 days back to submit the passports to local VFS office which I have done today.

Hi ,
For my spouse & daughter I requested them to change it to NDVO on 13th April & recieved reply on 16th April ,

Mine is CPC - Ottawa & I submitted my passport with request letter & I faxed it oon same day.

They are going on April 21 .. Any updates ..I"ll post it .

Are you sure about this? because in my correspondence with them they have never mentioned this.

I have got my passport with COPR and already sent the passports of my family to Delhi Visa office and now waiting for passports to come back.

Also i can read in the instruction they have written that unless the COPR has been issued for all the family members, i cannot go to port of entry to become the PR.

But they have not mentioned this anywhere...I have been waiting for my dependents passport and planning to do the landing together with them hence did not do my own landing. Also in there isntructions they have said that i cannot do my landing unless my family is issued CPR.

Try calling CIC. I read those instruction on CoPR too. That's the reason I asked the officer.

I did my landing at CIC office. To book the appointment, the call center rep asked me if any of my dependent whose present in Canada still waiting for the CoPR. I mentioned to the rep abt my spouse in India. They said its fine.

So, I am assuming those instructions are applicable, only if your dependent is in Canada.
You better give them a call and clarify. Also, plz let me know what they say.

Finally yesterday i got a request from CIC New Delhi to submit passports. Submitted to VFS in Hyderabad today. How long is it taking to get the passports back??

Its a third party who collects the passport or other immigration application on behalf of Canadian embassy in India. I am not sure if you can even mail your passport directly to CIC New Delhi. You need to go to the VFS close to your city and submit your passport there. You need to pay some fee at the VFS office which includes courier charges as well.

You need to submit passports at your nearest VFS office. That is the only safe and secure way and CIC mentions about using VFS for transmitting passports.

I too got my PPR request on Mar31, and sent a mail for change of office to NewDelhi.
Finally got the email for it on April 21.

gave my passport at Bangalore today, they said it would normally take 15-20 days for stamping at delhi.
