Any advice please?? My daughter and son in law have now received their PR visas which should be activated by 27thJan 2011 (the anniversary of their medicals). However,my daughter is now pregnant and is due to give birth on 14thDec 2010. She became pregnant through the use of IVF and consequently is under medical supervision. She is not allowed to undertake longhaul flights and they are looking into travelling transatlantic by boat. This not as easy as it sounds due to the lack of passenger ships going to New York.
Is it possible to extend the dead line or for her husband to go and activate the visas (with a medical certificate)? Any suggestions would be most welcome.

1. The visa will not be extended.
2. If the child is born prior to the parents "landing", then their visas are not longer valid as the family composition has changed.
3. Cunard has transatlantic Southampton to New York 17 crossing before Nov./2010.
