PR - Spouse Visitor Visa

Hi ,

I am currently working in canada under ICT work permit which is due to expire Nov -2015.
I had applied for my Permanent residence status in canada and completed my medical as well. If everything goes good, i might get my PR done by Jan 2015.

I am getting married in the month of April 2015. I am confused as in how to get my wife to canada after marriage.

1. Should i notify CIC and hold my PR till my marriage and get her to canada via dependent visitor visa (ICT)
2. Get my PR and get her to canada thru visitor visa?

Can CIC hold a PR till April 2015? Any idea how long CIC can hold a PR application
Any one who has processed visitor visa for spouse and applied for sponsor ship with in canada?

Please advise

If you are married you can process her visitor visa side by side + adding her in PR application now, which i believe can't be done as you are not married yet.
2. Get my PR and get her to canada thru visitor visa?

As far I know once you become PR , she can't enter canada until she become PR where you will be sponsoring her being your wife.

Can CIC hold a PR till April 2015? Any idea how long CIC can hold a PR application

There is nothing such as holding an application , you can withdraw though , who gave this info to you ?
Any one who has processed visitor visa for spouse and applied for sponsor ship with in canada?

CIC has sent a mail to pay RPRF and has asked me if my family correspondence has changed

Do you intend to get married or divorce prior to becoming permanent residence?
I assumed if i say i am getting married on some date, they will keep my PR on hold till my spouse application is added.

Is that not correct?

I would advice call CIC and act accordingly what they say , As RPRF is requested , I believe you will get PPR within a month.
If they agree to hold the application , you are good to go.
But let me tell you if they can hold that is good for you, but picking up the application again will not be in your control.

I would suggest continue with your application with the thought that at this time you are not married and do not have a line of sight for marriage at least until 2 months. once you complete your formalities and land as a PR, you can choose to decide when you get married and at that time follow the appropriate process.

Of course thats my suggsetion.
