PR renewa while Citzenship application in process!

I applied for Citizenship 23 months ago and is still in process..I also applied for renewing PR card three months ago..now they transferred the my PR application to local office for more review...any idea how long does it take at the local office?! Anyone traveled and obtained a travel document to reenter Canada?! Does it take much time to obtain this travel document at the Canadian embassy in your country of citizenship?! please advise. Thanks

It took 4 months for me to get my renewed card at my hand. But the approval was posted roughly within 3 months of my application. Did you have frequent out of country travels? any room for the reviewers to suspect your residency proof? They are usually easy on PR renewals.

My PR renewal was takjing long and had to leave without PR. Applied for travel document and got it within three weeks

It took me more than 4 months to get my renewed PR card by mail, processing in 3 months.
