PR Rejection

Recently my colleague PR application has been rejected by CIC team. CIC person stated clearly that company profile does not meet requirements. Saying that company has less staff and all employees works at their client sites. Employer has provided all CRA, tax works very accurately and legitimately and it shows because CIC did not put any question on tax related things from employee and employer side. She have applied under CEC class after successful work stay in canada.

Now i have finished one year stay in canada and eligible to apply for PR under CEC. Now, i am bit worried after my colleague status. Please help me here to move forward. I have applied for IELTS and not able to prepare for the exam now

Can you provide the wording from the rejection letter?
Is this a Canadian company?
Are the clients based in Canada?
Did your colleague provide ref. letters from the client? Was this requested from cic?
How long has the company been established?

as far as the preparation for the ielts goes dont sweat too much if you know basic english and can converse in english you'll be fine

She did not provided any reference letter from client. But she has provided all required documentation from working company. Somehow, company website did not worked for sometime and employer provided mobile numbers as company contact numbers in all documentation. one reason they mentioned it in rejection.

I am not sure if CIC meant that company profile does not meet requirements based these comments. Is it really matter whether employer maintaining company website, address, contact properly or not?. As it is small company and moreover all employees works at client places, employer might think it would be expensive and useless of maintaining all this stuff.

One more big big question i have, will this status cause any problem on LMO and WP process in future? I am not sure but it does if they maintain this status in database i guess.

Yes it is canadian company and client also based in canada. I got two times WP in 4 years period with same company..

As you will have seen on these forums (it's been a big issue lately!), people who are employment by a company but work on behalf of a "client" are required to provide reference letters from the client, as they are the only ones who can confirm your exact duties.

I think CIC obviously has major concerns about the company and with no real way of confirming the work experience, they have rejected the application. If you want help, get a copy of the letter!

Do you mean that she did not provide the letter describing her job details? Also, are you sure this application was not under PNP program? it seems like PNP program where it is a requirement for a company to have certain number of employees/ and revenue.

Oh.. I don't know why they. Need to reject her...but how long did she wait for this answer? I am. In the same situation, my.company was hireed. By a big.company to.manage their company, I got gcms my gcms note, it says my eligibility is recommrnted pass and all meets the requirement

PNP= Provincial Nominee Program. In Ontario, you can apply under PNP if your company is big enough (they have a definition for that.. number of employees, revenues and so on). If she did not apply under that program, then I don't see any reason why CIC will reject her application because her employer does not have certain number of employees. As some people already have suggested it's hard to tell without seeing the letter, I agree with them. We at least need to see the clause that tells the reason for rejection.

This is the first time I heard an application being rejected based on the company's profile. This is very strange reason.
