PR rejection for misrepresentation?

Hi everyone, I applied for BC PNP back in July 2015 based on eligibility under the FSTP category. I recieved my nomination in January 2016. It was at this time I realized I was in fact not eligible for FSTP as the 2 years of foreign work experience I had claimed points for were not completed with a trade qualification for that country (a requirement in the fine print of the fstp but no direct questions related to this on either EE profile or BC pnp profile).

Because of this, directly after accepting my BC PNP nomination I deleted my foreign work experience from EE profile and became eligible for CEC as I has gained 1 year canadian work experience in late January 2016. (*I was NOT eligible for CEC at the time I applied for BC PNP or by the time I recieved my nomination*) I later recieved ITA in Feb 2016. My question is...If I submit my PR application will the CO question why I switched from FSTP to CEC? As my ITA is under PNP I am worried the CO will think i misrepresented myself on purpose in order to get a BC PNP nomination. Should I proceed or just pull the plug on this and start completley fresh slate?

I recommend deleting your old profile and making a new one and wait for the next draw.

since your current ITA is under PNP, it is likely that your application is rejected.

You got ITA is because of the PNP. If you delete your work experience, you will no longer qualify for PNP.

I also applied to PNP and through GCMS note, I knew that CIC had all the documents that you submitted for PNP. CIC also had data on which category you were nominated. They will do comparison and hence, it is extremely easy for CIC to find out what you have done. CIC always check for the second time that you still satisfy the condition of your nomination when your PR is in process. It may just take them a few minutes to figure it out.

However, I am not sure if CIC will consider it misrepresentation. If you are lucky, CIC may just reject it and nothing will happen to you.

Yes I am guessing it will end with a rejection just not sure about the misrepresentation part so probably safer to just not submit and start over again. Thanks for the replies

Hello,

I just saw your post and thought you might help me. I am applying under CEC and will complete 1 year of experience in Canada.I was planning to show my part time experience in India as well to get more scores.

But the problem is while I was filling up my in my study permit form. CIC had asked about job experience. So I had included only the 8 months full time job experience, that I had. Not the part time. Wwill that be a problem if I include it now in CEC.

Thanks

I've seen plenty of people get PR with foreign job experiences that were never mentioned when applying for study/visitor visa.

Thanks. I am planning to show my part time experience. As I am not able to score more than 440. Even I am not sure if I will get OINP as I am reading in few forums they have stopped for this year , whereas I will complete 1 year work exp on June end 2016 and ,my work permit is valid Nov 11 2016.

Do you guys see any chance for your experience.

Thank you

As far as I know and understand, OINP has not stopped for the year, it is only a temporary hiatus. It looks like they are clearing the backlog before they start issuing new PTs.

Stanlee thank you so much for the information. Was of great help. DO you have any other info regarding OINP. As I am planning to create my profile now as I am eligible for OINP. I dont want to wait for federal PR as I am really short of time. Is it they take only 2700 candidates a year. If so, is it already exhausted ? Like do you know of people getting OINP earlier this year.

One more question does this OINP also depends on ranks like scores more than 400 gets invitation earlier??
Thanks
