I am very happy to meet a professional like you. We did not seek help from a migration agent. I applied for permanent residency online by myself. I think it is not complicated for a protected person to apply for permanent residency. Just prepare according to the checklist on the official website. For me It is also a process of learning English. I also consulted with my previous lawyer if I need him to help me apply. He told me that I can do it by myself, but I still have to save the lawyer's fees. I am very happy to meet you today. I know many lawyers consulted. Any questions need to be charged!
Its great to be here, this forum is always helpful

At which percentage are you at? I am at 28% on CIC portal. You submitted almost 2 months earlier than me and still have no updates after stage 3! I'd send a WebForm to see what is stopping them from further processing if I were you.
He’ll likely be getting more updates by end of January or February 2022. There’s no need for a webform that may not be looked at since he’s still within the processing time frame.

I have pushed many applications forward or have received status updates by sending a WebForm. Some also remain unanswered. There is no harm in sending one even if there is no response.

hello @farsxp

The fact that you work in Immigration Consultation, do you know a chronological order of the process from when PR application is received? I wonder why application is stuck on medical received for weeks? what would be the reason? I cant seem to find any document that detailing each stage

Percentage is on 37 now, one of my friends that sent his application 15 days before me get his copr yesterday, so I planed to wait for 2 more weeks.

Medical is always the last step when the positive decision is made but the paper work has not been finished to issue CoPR. The paperwork involves confirmation of receipt of the applicants PR approval from different departments within IRCC, RCMP and CBSA. Everyone must know you got your PR and must confirm they know. Imagine having dependents also! All the paperwork doubles, triples sometimes quadruples depending how many people are getting their PR. Single applicants are the fastest to process for obvious reasons.

Oh God! Let me tell you my story! My friend and his family made the refugee claim the SAME DAY as I did! They got their hearing 1 YEAR and 3 MONTHS earlier than me so they are PR now and I am still looking at the screen at 28% and hoping I can make it for the next round of licensing exams if my PR arrives on time!
That is why they always say never compare your case to others. There are just too many factors involved.

I have a common-law partner, but I don’t need my guarantee! He is a pr, is it simple for me?

Yes, it can't be compared! Because our cases are randomly assigned to different immigration officers, depending on their work efficiency!

Do you already have a GCKey account? Just go to the IRCC website and look for the link “sing in or create an account to apply online”. Click on it and you will see the option that allows you to sign in with your GCKey.

I prepared the five questions and answers on the pr confirmation letter in advance, and I am waiting for approval! Am I too anxious? Hahaha, I really hope to deal with my case this month, God bless

Hi.
I had a similar problem before. You can use first merge pdf then compress pdf, search them online and you can easily do that.

Please advise. The processing of my application started on November 16, 2021 but I haven’t been able to link it to my GCKey account after several trials. What could be the problem?
