Its not about processing time and validity of medical exams, In-Canada protected person's PR applicant are exempted from medical inadmissibility. What I understand is that no matter what the body is, I will accept it! Because our most important thing is the hearing! Has passed, the physical examination is just a process
My brother! Please double check before claiming it on the law! You are wrong brother:
Protected persons (including members of the protected PTR class) and their accompanying family members in Canada and abroad are required to undergo a medical examination [R30(1)(a)].
ALL protected persons are NOT required to take the medical exam IF 1) they have an unexpired medical exam 2) it is valid.
In our case, it is expired and is invalid but due to processing time issues they don't ask for it again. I contacted IRCC about this specifically and they said our medicals are OK if we did not leave Canada and lived in a "designated country" for more than six months after a positive NOD and receiving subsequent RTD.

Im referring to the In-canada Protected refugee Permanent Residence Applicant waiver of medical exam ( that may lead to inadmissibility)
Health grounds
- 38 (1) A foreign national is inadmissible on health grounds if their health condition
- (a) is likely to be a danger to public health;
- (b) is likely to be a danger to public safety; or
- (c) might reasonably be expected to cause excessive demand on health or social services.

(2) Paragraph (1)(c) does not apply in the case of a foreign national who- (a) has been determined to be a member of the family class and to be the spouse, common-law partner or child of a sponsor within the meaning of the regulations;
- (b) has applied for a permanent resident visa as a Convention refugee or a person in similar circumstances;
- (c) is a protected person; or
- (d) is, where prescribed by the regulations, the spouse, common-law partner, child or other family member of a foreign national referred to in any of paragraphs (a) to (c).
Understand, there was a misunderstanding before! Waiting to be processed! How much squeeze can we process applicants until August?
Thank you for sharing and I have read R30(1)(a) and i guess we are talking same thing but section g was repealed. most of R30 clarifies about TRP and family member of protected person, but 38 is specific addresses waiver to medical inadmissibility for protected persons. same way there are detailed provisions for protected person and for other TR under IRPA.

At which percentage are you at? I am at 28% on CIC portal. You submitted almost 2 months earlier than me and still have no updates after stage 3! I'd send a WebForm to see what is stopping them from further processing if I were you.
