PR Portal - Checklist and Forms Signature Issue

In the online application portal ( https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/), there are a list of forms.

I have issues with Forms IMM008 and 5406.

According to the Checklist, these forms are supposed to be signed by the Principal Applicant. However, when I completed the application online step by step, there is no section for signature. Is this normal?

If so, what should I mark in the checklist where it lists out the various forms which need to be signed?

Its a good question. They dont explain this as they have online forms now. The only form that requires electronic signature is 5669. I have watched youtube videos of people who have had success with their documents and they ticked off that the principle applicant signed these forms on the checklist document. Since only principle applicant fills out the 0008 and puts in their name and you at LEAST need the principle applicant to fill out the 5406 ( including any eligible family members), you can checkmark the checklist accordingly.
I suggest checking up some youtube videos of people filling out the latest version of these forms, lots of good resources available on youtube as well for other issues.

The forms that require an actual handwritten signature are 1344 and 5532 (and the representative form if you're using one). The rest are filled out on the portal. The checklist was made for paper applications, so the information doesn't transfer perfectly to the online application system. There are a lot of threads on here discussing the online process. It'd be a good idea to read up, as there are some quirks and differences you need to look out for.
