PR passport request --> passport return time

hello everyone, I have sent my passport on 1st August, 2017 and they have received it on 4th August, 2017. However they haven't released my passport yet. It has been 21 days since they received. Does anyone has any idea, why is the delay?

hey, is the tracker update by the immigration officers or it's applicants like us that update it ?
Also, how do i know what's my username to locate my details on the tracker ? pls help

This will take 2-8 weeks so don't panic this is very usual .Dont compare your profile with someone and get stressed.

Hi All,

Once you submitted when the passport is about to release, you will get an email from CIC update as decision has been made.
Which means they stamped once its changed expect the passport to be sent with in a day from there and you will recieve in 2-3 days.

No only annex form . you can see that in the last page of your email

Hi Guys,

I submitted my passport on 20th November in Delhi VFS office. It reached Canada Visa office, Delhi on 21st November.
Do you have any idea how long it will take to get it stamped?

So I got an email to send my passport(with at least 6 months validity) and 2 passport photos, my concern is my passport expires around mid May 2018.. Do you guys think it's okay to send it like that or I should renew my passport before sending it??

I have applied for PR through CIC Express Entry.

I got an email last week requesting my passport and 2 photos.

Although my online application hasn't been updated, reading posts on this forum seem to indicate that this means my PR has been granted.

They received my passport and photos on Monday and I was just wondering if anyone knows what the approximate turnaround time is.
