PR passport request --> passport return time

[Nutshell]

I have applied for PR through CIC Express Entry.

I got an email last week requesting my passport and 2 photos.

Although my online application hasn't been updated, reading posts on this forum seem to indicate that this means my PR has been granted.

They received my passport and photos on Monday and I was just wondering if anyone knows what the approximate turnaround time is.

Further details sent off: Approx. 22 September 2015
Passport request letter: 13 January 2016
CIC received passport: 18 January 2016

If anyone has any information on how long it normally takes from when they receive your passport to getting it back, that would be amazing.

It hardly takes 5-7 days after PPR.

there is no exact timeline but something around 10-20 days..... if you are lucky then may be 1 week.

As you know we provide JPG photos when we submit our application online.
My question is, did you send the same photos' print-outs?
And what was the format of them (size)?

You can use same pictures as long as it has been taken within 6 months. Also follow the instructions from CIC regarding size and color details as well as the fact that has to have the stamp from the photo studio. Must be hard copy pictures (non digital).

Am from Toronto. I sent my passport to Ottawa 2 weeks back after i received PPR. Does anyone know whats a turn around time for getting it back.

Few of my friends got it back within a week in the Month of April. Does anyone know whats latest time its taking to receive it back
