Good day everyone...
My wife and I got married last year in September in Germany amongst friends and family. We have since made preparations for her Permanent residency here in Canada. We already downloaded the sponsorship and application forms and are in the process of gathering proof of our relationship. She lives in Kiel, Germany and I live in Richmond, B.C. I am a Canadian citizen born in Vancouver. We have been in a relationship close to four years. We are applying outland. The following are the questions I have:

A. FORMS
I am aware that the following need to be filled out:

A5 - IMM5540E Sponsor Questionnaire.pdf
A3 - IMM5481E Sponsorship Evaluation.pdf
A2 - IMM1344E Application to sponsor.pdf
A1 - IMM5491E Document Checklist.pdf
B5 - IMM5490E Sponsored Spouse Partner Questionnaire.pdf
B4 - IMM5406E Additional Family Information.pdf
B3 - IMM5669E Schedula A Background Declaration.pdf
B1 - IMM0008ENU_2D Generic Application Form for Canada.pdf

My question is: For Form B4 Additional Family Information, do I (the sponsor) also need to fill this out?

B. FORMS MAILING OUT

My question is: When we mail these forms out, do we mail them all out at the same time after we pay the fee or do we mail them one by one when they ask for them? Example:

Me as the sponsor put documents A1, A2, A3 and A5 together and mail them all in one package. Then my wife fill out B1, B3, B4 and B5 and put them all in one package and mail it out.

C. MAIL LOCATION

I am aware that the Canadian Embassy in Berlin was closed and the Canadian Embassy in Vienna now handles German related immigration to Canada. I am also aware of the Mississauga Ontario office where I would also send my forms.

My question is: Does both my wife and I send them to one location? Eg: All to Mississauga or do I send it to Mississauga and she sends it to Vienna? Or do we both send them to Vienna because we're applying outland?

D. PROOF OF OUR RELATIONSHIP

I am aware that printed material proof is needed for her application. We have over 600 emails between us, over 120 pages of Whatsapp messages, over 50 pages of SMS, over 700 photos of us with friends and family, over 300 photos of our wedding, our marriage certificate, Skype call logs, various bills and a few other things.

My question is: How much is enough?

Also, would letters from people saying that they know of us, our relationship and how they know of us help?

------

I know this is a lot to read. So my apologies. I tried to lay it out in a way where it's straight forward and clear to the reader. Thanks for your time.

a. No - the additional family information form is ONLY For the applicant. This is what CIC will use to determine the applicant's future sponsorship possibilities. the sponsor does NOT need to fill it out. Use the checklist to ensure which documents need to be filled out for the applicant and the spouse.

b. Both the sponsor and applicant applications go TOGETHER in the same package. If they are not together, CIC will determine the application incomplete and most likely return the package, so you will have to start again.

c. yes, as both applications get sent TOGETHER in 1 package, it all gets sent to Mississauga. Once Mississauga issues sponsorship approval, CIC will then forward the applicant's application to the proper Visa Office, and will note in in the sponsor approval letter you receive. You may/may not receive acknowledgement of receipt from that visa office once it's received. Each visa office is different. Some send notification, some don't.

d. as much or as little proof you want to send it enough. to me, it sounds like you have MORE than enough. Yes, letters from friends and family are helpful. They are not required. Send what you believe will convince the visa officer that your relationship is real.

Agree (with d). We submitted only 60 or so photos, and a few cards, NO email, Skype, or chat logs . . . and we're processing from a non-visa exempt country all the while.

Thanks for the answers. This puts at rest some anxiety I've been having over the last few weeks. I may have more questions as the days come and go. Probably coinciding her medical check up.
