Hi there,
I have been browsing this forum for quite a long time and find the feedbacks are useful and helpful. Appreciate it!! I have questions herebelow and seeking for advice:

Make my long story short:
  • I became PR since Nov 2008, PR card is expired in Nov 2013. I left Canada to my home country after staying a week in Canada at the time of landing.
  • Not working in Canada until I was employed by a Canadian company since Sept 2010, and my job requires me to stay in Asian countries. I occasionally come back to Canada for meeting and report to my Boss (accumulate 60 days physically in Canada). I have filed my tax and pay the tax since 2008.
  • Married in 2011, Sponsor my wife and little baby in July 2012 by means of inland application. Approved in Principal (AIP) in Feb 2013, additional requested documents already sent back to CIC. Now waiting for “Decision Made”, expect for result in Oct 2013.
My Questions:
  • 1. I am going to apply for PR card renewal now, in case of application is rejected, will the family class sponsorship application be affected?
  • 2. Since the first stage of sponsorship is accepted in Feb 2013. (CIC wrote, "I have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor"), can I say that my PR obligation of 730-rule is accepted by CIC?
  • 3. Should I wait to apply for PR card renewal until my family application is FINALLY accepted?

Any feedbacks are welcome and many thanks in advance!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
If you were hired in Canada and transferred to a full time position abroad, your days spent working for that employer should be counted towards your PR residency requirements.

If you lose your PR during the time your family PR is still pending, I think they will cancel their application.

Further, a PR must be residing in Canada in order to sponsor their family and if you are posted to a full time overseas position, you are not residing in Canada. If immigration finds out about that, there is a further risk of them cancelling your application.

If you are able to wait with your PR card renewal until your family already has their PR, I think you should do that.
